No Jail While Fines Amass
Great news to share! The judge said he was not planning to arrest Senior Pastor Mike McClure or Youth and Young Adults Pastor Carson Atherley; however, their personal fines of $30,000 each and church fines well exceed $1,000,000. The hearing's closing arguments will be begin next Thursday, January 28, 1:30 p.m. at the San Jose Courthouse. Each side will only have 30 minutes to present.
Join me next Thursday and stand with Pastors Mike and Carson at the courthouse after the hearing for our media conference. Our goal is to fill St. James Park for the news conference. Ironically, The Old Courthouse is situated between two streets named after authors of the Bible, W. Saint James Street and W. Saint John St. when California government used to honor the Church in California.
