Courthouse & Pastors Arrests Thursday
Yes, it's come to this in California. The County of Santa Clara will not rest until they jail pastors and exorbitantly fine churches while paying no regard to the United States Constitution. The county is pushing to have Pastors Mike McClure and Carson Atherley of Calvary Chapel San Jose jailed, tomorrow, Thursday, January 21, 1:30 p.m. after their court hearing. Both are faced with $30,000 each in personal fines, over $1,000,000 in church fines and 5 days in jail for both men.
Please join me in praying for Pastors Mike and Carson Calvary Chapel San Jose, and then a time of prayer and worship on the steps of the courthouse at 3:00 p.m., then followed by a media conference at 4:00 p.m. Lead Counsel Bob Tyler, Tyler and Bursch of counsel criminal justice attorney Nicolai Cocis and Attorney Mariah Gondeiro with Advocates for Faith and Freedom are defending both pastors in court and will speak at the news conference.
Just this week, Pastor Clint Yandris of The Rock Church, also called Church United asking for help as they are in the city of Santa Clara and the same county has targeted him, the church, and has begun fining them even though they are meeting outside!
