First Amendments Rights Violated

Pastor Tim Thompson is a Chaplain to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Pastor Tim was arrested late Friday afternoon, May 1, 2020, and charged with "Creating an Unhealthy Environment" on the steps of California's Capitol. He was singled out as a speaker, ripped from the front of the line, and placed in handcuffs. His crime...exercising his constitutionally protected rights.
Amendment I of the United States Constitution states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Pastor Tim committed the crimes of 1) exercising his religious beliefs, 2) free speech, 3) peaceably to assemble and, 4) petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Murrieta 412 Church has been hosting drive-in church services during the COVID-19 pandemic practicing government suggested protocols of social distancing and wearing masks, gloves, and taking extra safety precautions. Sunday, May 3, Murrieta 412 Church began their first indoor services with smaller audiences and social distancing the sanctuary chairs into clusters for families or single individuals to sit while in the sanctuary.
Many Church United churches have expressed they plan to open May 17, May 24, and as late as June 7.
Church United will be providing updates on suggested date for all California churches to participate in reopening together! Multiple pastors of influence are recommending Pentecost Sunday, May 31! Come Holy Spirit, come and bring a 4th Great Awakening!!
